Behind every DRAN experience are people who know, live and genuinely love Sardinia. Our team brings together local guides and qualified professionals, each with different backgrounds, skills and areas of expertise, but all sharing the same passion: revealing Sardinia through its landscapes, history, nature, traditions and, above all, its people.
We believe that a guide should do much more than simply lead guests from one place to another. A great guide creates connections, shares the stories that cannot be found in a guidebook, interprets the landscape and helps guests understand the places they are experiencing.
This personal approach is at the heart of everything we do. Every DRAN Experience is private and reserved exclusively for our guests, allowing our guides to create a more personal, flexible and meaningful way to discover the island.
Davide is the founder of DRAN Experience and owner of Travel Planner Family – Sardinia & Italy DMC.
With a degree in Marine Biology, he has always had a deep connection with Sardinia’s sea, nature and environment. His curiosity for the world led him to live and travel extensively across Australia, Southeast Asia and South America, visiting more than 40 countries and experiencing very different cultures, landscapes and ways of life.
After years of travelling, Sardinia gradually became the centre of his professional journey. His passion for his homeland first led him into guiding and later inspired the creation of DRAN Experience: a brand dedicated to private experiences designed to reveal the island through its people, nature and traditions.
As a local guide, Davide has a particular passion and expertise in marine environments, nature, Sardinian culture and history. His tours combine scientific knowledge, curiosity about the territory and a genuine enthusiasm for storytelling.
His goal is not simply to show guests what makes Sardinia beautiful, but to help them understand what makes the island truly special.
Born and raised in Sardinia, Salvatore has developed a lifelong connection with nature, the island and outdoor living.
He holds a degree in Communication, speaks four languages and is a licensed hiking guide with an extensive knowledge of Sardinian culture and local traditions.
Nature, sport and outdoor activities are among his greatest passions. Coastal trails, mountain landscapes and small villages become the starting point for discovering a Sardinia made not only of beautiful places, but also of stories, identity and local ways of life.
His engaging and spontaneous approach allows guests to experience the island naturally, combining outdoor exploration with local culture and a deeper understanding of the landscape.
Melina was born and raised in Spain in a family with German roots. A natural curiosity for people, cultures and languages has shaped both her personal and professional life, and today she speaks seven languages.
She has lived in Sardinia since 2015 and became an Official Tourist Guide of Sardinia in 2018. She is also a certified AIGAE Hiking Guide, combining her knowledge of the island’s cultural heritage with a strong background in nature and outdoor exploration.
Her international background allows her to connect naturally with guests from many different countries and cultures, while her years in Sardinia have given her a deep understanding of the island she now calls home.
Her tours bring together culture, nature and storytelling, offering guests a personal and engaging perspective on Sardinia.
Anna Maria is a certified tourist guide and sommelier with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a Master’s degree in Food and Wine Marketing and Communication.
Naturally curious, she has a wide range of interests deeply connected to Sardinia, including food and wine, folk traditions, art, craftsmanship, nature, plants, outdoor life and culture in all its forms.
For Anna Maria, food and wine are much more than something to taste. They are a way to understand the land, its families, its history and the traditions that have shaped Sardinian identity over generations.
She has a deep love for her island and particularly enjoys meeting guests from around the world, sharing not only Sardinia’s highlights but also the small details, stories and secrets that help visitors truly understand the destination.
Her knowledge and curiosity turn every experience into a journey through Sardinian culture, flavors and identity.
For us, being a local guide means much more than knowing roads, monuments or hiking trails.
It means knowing the people. Understanding the landscape. Recognizing how the sea and wind can change. Knowing the traditions of a village. Telling a story in the very place where that story began. And creating a meaningful connection between those visiting Sardinia and the people who call the island home.
This is why we work with guides who bring not only professional qualifications, but also curiosity, communication skills, experience and a genuine connection with Sardinia.
Our guests do not simply follow an itinerary.
They discover Sardinia through the eyes of those who truly know it.
